Global Crew Logistics Miami Beach, FL · May 2024 – Present

Keeping a live call center at 99.999% while building the AI platform next to it

GCL runs crew logistics for maritime operations — the Avaya call-center platform is how dispatchers reach crew members mid-voyage. There's no maintenance window that doesn't risk a missed handoff.

The mandate was to hold that platform at 99.999% uptime while standing up a separate on-prem AI system for model training and real-time network defense, on the same network, without the two projects colliding.

Delivered: layered perimeter defense (firewalls, VPN, threat detection) rolled out in parallel with the voice platform, plus a company-wide cybersecurity training pass that lifted compliance across departments without pulling anyone off the floor for a full day.

Rebuilding wireless architecture across sites that had never had a unified plan

Directed a fully hybrid team through a multi-year run of enterprise network builds — Cisco VXLAN fabric and Catalyst WLC wireless deployments across sites that had grown organically, each with its own ad-hoc wiring history.

Feedback loops from the field got translated into infrastructure rollouts as they came in, rather than saved for a big-bang cutover — which meant plans changed mid-project more than once, and the team adapted without losing the deployment schedule.

Zero-downtime wireless rollout in a building that couldn't afford to go dark

An international team working across time zones meant there was no quiet maintenance window — any outage meant someone's shift going dark mid-task. Cisco wireless was rolled out department by department with zero downtime, alongside proactive vulnerability tracking that shut down issues before they could escalate.

Also managed the Cisco Unified Communications environment underneath it — voice, video, and collaboration tools that the regional hub depended on daily.

From the People I've Worked With

"When we reached out to Iteronix, our core network infrastructure was feeling the strain of our recent growth, and we were struggling to get ahead of performance bottlenecks. They didn't just drop in a generic fix or push unnecessary upgrades. Instead, they took the time to understand our day-to-day operations and built a setup that is both rock-solid and straightforward to manage. Everything runs smoother now, and having that peace of mind is priceless. Working with them felt less like hiring an outside vendor and more like adding a trusted team of experts to our own side."

Yasin O.

"Finding a technical partner that delivers deep expertise alongside clear, transparent communication is rare, but Iteronix nailed it. They guided us through a complex system overhaul without any downtime, keeping our team informed every step of the way without drowning us in technical jargon. The impact on our operational stability was immediate. I couldn't recommend them highly enough to any business looking for reliable, high-tier technical support."
